back frm macau
Im back from Macau and Zhuhai.

These 2 places are world apart... The Venetian Hotel was where the Asia Pacific Life Insurance Congress took place (APLIC). Learnt alot from the speakers from all over the world. The architecture of The Venetian is simply majestic. Gigantic casino. Beatifully done up conference hall. Felt great to be part of this congress. Cause all the insurance people from different countries actually get together to attend APLIC. So basically everyone is similar in that sense. And i feel so belonged. Zhuhai. We extended our trip to Zhuhai cos it's nearby. My first visit to China. And i think it would probably be the last. Chaotic, messy, dirty. Roads without white lines. Cross junctions without traffic lights. Every vehicle goes zig-zag. And horn super loud at each other. Things there are super cheap. The food too. But it's kinda of stressful there, cos u don't enjoy any moment of peace. I prefer Macau than Zhuhai for this trip. Shouldn't have extended. Or rather, after having visited Zhuhai, i know i won't choose to go there again. Love the hotel at Macau. felt so pampered. From Macau to Zhuhai is like from castle to slumps.
