Im damn excited about our new home. Went over with the fam to do some tiny inspection, and oh my i was so glad to see my room painted with the first coat! It was a colour i never thought i would like, not to mention having it painted it on the walls of my room - permanently. Feature wall is a dark brown with grey mix-in. The other walls are darker beige. I chose these colours cos as i mentioned in an earlier post, our theme is modern comtemp, with earthy hues of sandy and soil colours. I also wanted to make my room comfortably dark. A stark contrast to the colours i've painted in my previous rooms. When i was staying at AMK, my room was light pink. Then i move to another part of AMK. My room was white. I chose sunshine yellow when i shifted to CCK 10 years ago. Boring eh? I swore that i'd do a different feel altogether this time round. Comfy and lazy. I struggled quite abit before making the decision to choose such a dark colour. But now im glad i made the right decision. Everything should be done in another 2 weeks. Moving soon!
